On first sight Marty might give the impression that he’s lived the rock n roll lifestyle since the 70s, (and maybe he has – reminder to self to fact check that one).  One thing we do know about Marty is his quiet, unassuming personality makes him an absolute gem of a guide. 

Marty’s passion is Kokoda. With dozens of treks under his belt, he has a knowledge not only of the track, but also the history, the off the beaten path hidden treasures and the people personally.  If you are lucky enough to get on one of Marty’s treks (they are exclusive as he only does two a year) you are in for a life-changing experience.
